About the role:

The Product Data Manager is accountable for complete business analysis of data and management information sources to support new and existing products and services. This includes developing business cases, business requirements and translating those into supporting applications and information systems. By working across the Product Management Team they will help other colleagues to maintain customer driven Products & Services to meet the requirements of CITB’s strategic objectives and the needs of industry as the data owner for Product Management.

Essential:

  • Proven ability to get data from a variety of data sources
  • Advanced knowledge of report writing tools, such as, Microsoft Excel incorporating complex formulas, and other Microsoft applications
  • Broad experience in business or systems analysis

Highly numerate and computer literate Demonstrable experience of;

  • Strong analytical skills and processing complex data at pace with high attention to detail to provide integrity and accuracy of data
  • Managing data and Management Information and financial reporting
  • Ability to resolve difficult or complex technical data and Management Information problems, and to provide clear guidance to management, colleagues and users
  • Continuous improvement
  • Resource management
  • Experience in business design and able to quickly get into detail and deliver
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access)
  • Clear, confident and persuasive communicator at all levels of the organisation
  • Working in a matrix organisation
  • Able to identify business and technology options and to communicate and recommend suitable approaches
  • Working independently.
