About the role:

The Product Category Manager is the individual accountable for a category or group of CITB products end to end and their delivery. Distinct from product development and delivery roles which are the individual or team responsible for improving or delivering the product in collaboration with the Product Category Manager. Along with other role holder the individual will ensure CITB has the customer driven P&S to meet the requirements of CITBs strategic objectives and the needs of Industry.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of managing at least one product through its lifecycle is essential, managing multiples is preferable
  • A project management qualification would be useful, as would demonstrable evidence of leading projects successfully
  • Expected to maintain personal development plans as per PPP, but no formal CPD required
  • Highly capable operational leader
