About the role:

As a member of the management team, you’ll be responsible for supporting and promoting the implementation of strategic and operational risk management across CITB. Working with the Executive, teams and directorates, you’ll lead, facilitate and advise on the management of risk and be responsible for CITB’s Business Continuity approach.

You’ll raise awareness and understanding about risk management and use your expertise to consult on the strategy and development of an appropriate framework. Risk has implications across our organisation so you’ll form connections with colleagues and run training workshops to provide guidance, heighten consideration and build consistency.

Essential experience:

  • Qualified Risk Management Practitioner (such as the Institute of Risk Management or the Institute of Internal Auditors)
  • Be comfortable moving between detail and high-level summary information to identify links across the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with stakeholders such as the Chief Executive, Directors, Leadership colleagues, the Risk Group and the Audit & Risk Committee
