486 - IT Service Delivery Manager

About the role:
To act as the intelligent client on technology proposals, the technology aspects of change projects, and the operational IT service. Providing assurance and guidance to the Head of Change and Technology in the translation of technical solutions to business outcomes.
Ensuring that the delivery of the technology service, operationally to end users, and in change initiatives, is considering technology alignment to strategy, security, and end user requirements
Working closely with stakeholders across CITB to understand IT issues and needs, manage expectations, and support in the communication of those issues and needs to both the Change and Technology team and the SSCL IT team
Supporting the Service Management team in the definition of IT service metrics necessary to meet business need
Supporting the Head of Change and Technology, and working with SSCL architects, in the design of the technology roadmap
Gathering information, and horizon scanning, on emerging technologies that could provide opportunity and benefit for CITB. Presenting these opportunities clearly to the Head of Change and Technology for consideration in strategy
Responsible as the technical lead (for review and coordination) on information security considerations, and being SSCL’s point of contact for the information security services they provide to CITB
Essential:
ITIL Foundation Accreditation
Experience in a relevant or similar position.
Experience developing and implementing SLA’s and KPI’s for IT Services
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Someone who is passionate about Technology
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across various teams and disciplines
Strong capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgement, assertiveness
Desirable
- Customer Service Experience
- Experience in the development of IT Strategy
