Ein prif amcan yw creu diwylliant sy’n helpu ein holl gwsmeriaid i ymgyrraedd at weithlu sy’n adlewyrchu cymdeithas heddiw.

Pwrpas y rôl:
Fel Corff Cyhoeddus Anadrannol, mae gan CITB ddyletswydd statudol i gydymffurfio â deddfwriaeth berthnasol o ran y Gymraeg; bydd rôl y Cyfieithydd yn helpu’r sefydliad i sicrhau ei fod yn bodloni’r meini prawf perthnasol ar gyfer darparu gwasanaeth dwyieithog i’r cyhoedd yng Nghymru. Bydd y Cyfieithydd yn darparu gwasanaeth cyfieithu ysgrifenedig yn bennaf i CITB.

Prif gyfrifoldebau ac atebolrwydd:

  1. Darparu gwasanaeth cyfieithu proffesiynol o’r Gymraeg i’r Saesneg ac o’r Saesneg i’r Gymraeg sydd o’r safon uchaf ac o safon sy’n addas i’w gyhoeddi.
  2. Trosi amrywiaeth eang o gynnwys sy’n amrywio o ohebiaeth a negeseuon e-bost safonol i wybodaeth fwy manwl a thechnegol, dogfennau canllaw a chyhoeddiadau sy’n ymwneud yn benodol ag adeiladu, yn aml yn gweithio'n uniongyrchol i systemau rheoli cynnwys gwefannau. Bydd angen gwneud rhywfaint o gyfieithu cyfreithiol.
  3. Gweithio gyda’r asiantaethau cyfieithu allanol i sicrhau lefelau uchel o gywirdeb a chysondeb drwy: gynghori ar derminoleg; rhannu ffeiliau terminoleg a chof cyfieithu; rhannu adnoddau; codi unrhyw faterion ansawdd; prawf ddarllen a golygu; a rheoli llif y gwaith sy’n mynd allan i asiantaethau allanol.
  4. Cydlynu a goruchwilio ceisiadau am gyfieithiadau, gan sicrhau bod y ceisiadau hyn yn cael eu cofnodi a’u rheoli’n effeithiol o fewn amserlenni y cytunwyd arnynt. Penderfynu pa gyfieithiadau sy’n briodol i’w cadw’n fewnol a pha rai y dylid eu hanfon at asiantaeth allanol, gan ystyried eich llwyth gwaith eich hun a gwariant CITB.
  5. Cysylltu ag awduron dogfennau ac adrannau eraill lle mae angen gwell dealltwriaeth o’r pwnc e.e. Polisïau a Gweithdrefnau, Safonau Galwedigaethol Cenedlaethol, dogfennau canllaw. Bydd hyn yn golygu rhyngweithio â gwahanol swyddogaethau a rhannau o’r sefydliad.
  6. Sicrhau cywirdeb gwaith drwy ddefnyddio’r termau mwyaf priodol i’r pwnc a’r bobl a fydd yn ei ddarllen, yn ogystal â phrawf ddarllen eu gwaith eu hunain, a gwaith y staff a'r asiantaeth gyfieithu.
  7. Sicrhau Cymraeg o safon uchel yn holl ddeunydd print ac ar-lein CITB, gan gynnwys llyfrynnau, taflenni, posteri, y wefan, cyfryngau cymdeithasol a fideos.

  9. Sefydlu a chynnal cronfa ddata o waith cyfieithu a gwblheir yn y sefydliad ac yn allanol, cysylltu ag arbenigwyr eraill yn y maes a chynorthwyo i goladu data ar gyfer yr adroddiad dadansoddol chwarterol o'r gwaith cyfieithu a dderbyniwyd, at sylw Rheolwr yr Iaith Gymraeg.
  10. Helpu i ddod o hyd i atebion ymarferol i sicrhau bod CITB yn bodloni ei ofynion o dan ei ddyletswydd statudol. Gall hyn olygu ailflaenoriaethu gwaith, awgrymu bod gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau’n allanol, a darparu gwell gwasanaeth ar gyfer rhyddhau cynnwys y we a’r cyfryngau cymdeithasol yn y ddwy iaith ar yr un pryd.
